Richy FisherI grew up in the urban sprawl of Van Buren, Arkansas, a sister city to the metropolis of Fort Smith, Arkansas. After graduating high school (top of my class if you remove the top 25 students and average my grades with a B average) I felt God’s call in my life to vocational student ministry. I received a degree in Youth Ministry from Oklahoma Baptist University and served in towns that had great notoriety in Oklahoma such as Poteau, Stigler and Okmulgee. After a 11 year stint in Oklahoma City, my family and I moved to Sugar Land where I became the director of the student ministry at Sugar Creek. I believe in this generation of teenagers and have a passion to see as many of they come to know Christ as their savior and become spiritual leaders on their campuses. I also get the opportunity to train and coach youth ministers from around the country helping them strengthen their personal lives and develop better skills for reaching teenagers.
