Students who choose to be a part of a D_group are asked to miss no more than 3 group meetings per semester. We believe that being committed and consistent to the group will help foster intentional relationships in order to disciple properly.

Students will be able to sign up to be apart of D_Groups August 1st-28th. After this time groups will be formed and closed for the entire semester. If students want to join after August they will need to wait till January when Groups re-open. This Policy is not a strict policy and will make exceptions for students who move to this area or who recently join the church or become believers. The reason we will be closing groups is to increase the opportunity for groups to be vulnerable and accountable. Students will be encouraged to invite their friends to our once a month gathering, C2 and LYF Connection and other D_group events that meet outside the Sunday Night environment.

As a member of this D_Group, I understand the following is expected of me to be a part of this ministry of LYF Student Ministries.
1. I will be in attendance at D_Group meetings. I know that I only have 3 unexcused absences per semester from a D_Group. I know that an unexcused absence is one where I did not show up, and I did not call my leader.
2. If I can not come to a D_Group meeting, I understand that I need to call/text/email my leader and let them know why I will not be able to attend. I know that it is up to my D_Group leader to decide if my reason is acceptable or not.
3. I know that I must complete the assignments for each week in my workbook. These assignments include: Memory verses, Bible Studies and Journaling. I understand that I need to come prepared to participate in our time together.
4. I know that I must show a completed workbook at the end of the semester. I understand that if I want to move forward with a D_Group next year, I must finish all of the requirements this year.
5. I know that I must say all of the semester’s memory verses at the end of the semester. I understand that this discipline is here to help me hide God’s Word in my heart. I will work on these verses through the semester in order to LEARN them and not just MEMORIZE them.
