I am originally from Florence, South Carolina, but I certainly do not consider that to be home. As a child, we moved all the time. My two sisters and I knew when our parents walked in the room and said, “We need to have a family meeting”, it was time to pack up our stuff.

I have lived in South Carolina, Texas, New York, Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, and Louisiana. I call Louisiana home, as I have now stayed here longer than anywhere else. It is where I attended college, seminary, got married and began my family.

I am married to the best person I know; Emily Kirby and have a 3 year old little sweet pea named Reagan. They fill my days with love, joy, and tons of laughter. I am so grateful for God blessing me with my family. He outdid himself.

I am a graduate of Louisiana State University and received my MDIV from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Christian Education, specializing in Youth Ministry.  For the past 15 years, I have been involved in serving churches all across the state of Louisiana and Texas. God has blessed me with a preaching ministry also, that has allowed me the opportunity to partner and share the gospel with countless churches across the country through the years.

I have a passion to do whatever it takes to see people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. A burden of my heart is to see God’s people become biblically literate, possess doctrinal integrity, and simply become committed disciples of Christ.
